This is the official blog of PHIL 5361C – Philosophy of Emotions – from Texas State University, led by Prof. Lori Gallegos in Spring 2022. Here you will find some artifacts left by an extraordinary group of students as they worked together to examine philosophical questions related to the nature of emotions—with an emphasis on the ways these questions show up in a wide variety of real-world contexts.

How to create a post

To get started, just click on +New at the top of the page, and select Post from the drop-down menu.

• Enter the title of your post and add the body of your text in the larger box, below.
• Format your post using the options on the right hand side. You can add images, videos, quotes, etc.
• Select a Featured Image. That will be what people see first as they come across your post.
• Once you’re finished, be sure to select your Category and add any Tags you’d like.
